The brake bent under the force of her foot due to a laceration defect, causing the brake pedal to clamp down on the accelerator. A San Diego jury returned a verdict of $2,500,000 and assigned 100% of the blame for Donald’s death on Porsche for not posting warnings about the car’s foreseeable risk of hazard to users and negligence in addressing the car’s defective brakes and handling.
