Sunshine shares that her weight issues began around the age of 16, when she overheard her grandmother tell her mother that she needed to lose weight. Her mother was not a dieter and did not know how to help Sunshine. After years of following various diets and exercise regimens, Sunshine's weight reached 272 pounds. She had joint pain and was constantly tired. She gave up!

In December of 2018, Sunshine's husband was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. His nurse gave him a copy of The Obesity Code. Sunshine read it and began IF on her own in January of 2019. Her husband joined her two months later, after watching her lose 50 pounds!

Her husband followed a 16:8 protocol, and in six months, he lost 60 pounds. His A1C went from 10.5 to 5! He no longer needed daily naps and was no longer considered to be diabetic. Sunshine's health has also improved greatly! She has incredible energy, and her joint pain is totally gone.
