Scream: The True Story That Inspired The 1996 Slasher and Scream Movie Sequels with SPECIAL GUEST

Was 1996's Scream based on a true story? Here's the creepy inspiration that Kevin Williamson credited to writing the movie about Ghostface.

Was Wes Craven's Scream inspired by a true story? The slasher movie that introduced the world to Ghostface debuted in 1996. The actual screenplay was written by Kevin Williamson and he had quite a bit of inspiration when developing the script.

Scream immensely stood out when it premiered in the mid-'90s due to its meta approach to the horror genre. The slasher pointed out horror cliches while subverting typical tropes when it came to killers on the loose. Even though Scream was heavily influenced by horror classics such as Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street, it was still unique enough to ingrain itself in the minds' of horror lovers when comprising the genre's best films

Before settling on Scream, the movie was titled Scary Movie. Williamson created a horrifying tale about a young woman that was home alone being taunted by a serial killer on the phone. The woman, portrayed by Drew Barrymore, went on to be featured in the film's opening scene. The central character, however, was Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell), the true target of Ghostface, the Halloween-costume wearing madman. The basis for Scream came to Williamson when he learned about a real Florida serial killer, the Gainesville Ripper.

Danny Rolling, aka the "Gainesville Ripper", murdered five students over a four-day period in August 1990. During that period, the area in Florida fell into complete chaos as the murders struck fear across the community. Rolling was eventually caught after being linked to previous murders in Louisiana, but the terror stuck with those who were enthralled by the event in the '90s. Williamson has stated that he was watching a TV special about the Gainesville Ripper when he noticed one of the windows in his house was open. At first, he was overcome with fear, thinking how easy it would be for a killer to break in. But that fear quickly turned into inspiration.

Grey Aliens Killed 60 US Soldiers And Civilians In Underground Battle In New Mexico

Grey Aliens Killed 60 US Soldiers And Civilians In Underground Battle In New Mexico

Grey Aliens Killed 60 US Soldiers And Civilians In Underground Battle In New MexicoAmerican engineer Philip Schneider was born on April 23, 1947. He is known as a person who worked for many years in collaboration with special services of the United States, had access to information of the 3rd level of secrecy, but at some point decided that people should know that they are kept in ignorance or are grossly deceived about everything happening to UFOs and aliens.1. The American government entered into an agreement with the Grey aliens in 1954. This mutually beneficial cooperation agreement is called the “Greada Treaty”. Aliens do not comply with it.2. The shuttle made special alloys in orbit. A vacuum is needed to create these special metals, and thus the mandate for the ongoing support of the manned space station is justified.3. Most of the aircraft technology with Stealth technology was developed due to the study of an alien ship that crashed in the United States.4. AIDS was invented at the National Ordinance Laboratory in Chicago, Illinois, and developed as a virus to control the human population.5. It is a secret that the US government has a device for causing earthquakes. The San Francisco earthquake in 1989 and the Kobe earthquake in 1995 did not have a pulse wave, which confirms their artificial origin.6. The bombing at the World Trade Center (09/11/2001) and the bombing in Oklahoma City (04/19/1995) were carried out using miniature nuclear devices. This is indicated by the melting and pitting of concrete with the displacement of metal rods that make up the frame of concrete structures (it is worth recalling that Phil was an engineer and explosives were one of his strengths).7. Bikini Atoll was destroyed by nuclear weapons due to the fact that there was an underwater base of aliens.8. The strategic defense initiative (SDI) was actually conceived as a defense against alien invasions.👽 UFO News 2022🛸 REAL UFO Footage👽 UFO News 2022🛸 REAL UFO Footage🐵 TRUE Bigfoot Encounter Stories🔵 TRUE Life After Death Experience Stories👻 Ghost Stories That Will Give You Nightmares👽 TRUE UFO Encounter Stories🔴 TRUE Paranormal Reddit Stories👻 REAL GHOSTS CAUGHT On Camera Compilation🐵 Bigfoot Compilation🔴 Unexplained Creature Sightings🔴 Mysterious Creature Sightings🐵 Bigfoot Compilation Video🔵 Near Death Experience Stories🔵 My Near Death Experience Story🐵 Proof That Bigfoot Is Real🐵 Best Bigfoot Pictures🐵 Real Bigfoot Video 2022TRUE Paranormal stories told by people who have experienced Ghosts. Robert Willy Pickton The Pig Farmer Killer - He Killed 49 Women and Fed Them to Pigs

Robert Willy Pickton The Pig Farmer Killer - He Killed 49 Women and Fed Them to Pigs

Robert Willy Pickton "The Pig Farm Killer" Serial KillerThe Pig Farmer Killer — He Killed 49 Women and Fed Them to PigsOnly to get caught trying to make his tally an “even 50”Robert William Pickton, aka “Willy” was a quiet Canadian man who grew up in a family of pig farmers. His family had been in the business of pig farming for three generations but by the time Pickton and his siblings inherited the pig farm, they’d only raise a few pigs on the farm and sell them to friends and neighbors. They, in fact, sold parts of the inherited land for large sums of money, not having much intention of continuing the family business. However, it wasn’t pig farming that made Willy rather infamous in Canada and the rest of the world. He is known to have murdered as many as 49 women, having been arrested due to his admitted “sloppiness” in trying to make his tally an “even 50” or the “big five-O.”A Contradicting Tale of Quiet Nature and Rave PartiesWilly was described by most of his friends as a pretty “quiet and simple guy” who didn’t really have any visible devious habits that would draw much attention. He wasn’t known to be much of a drinker, or didn’t really do any substance abuse, nor was he ever known to be too violent. After neglecting the original pig farming business inherited from their parents, Willy and his siblings registered a non-profit charity by the name of “The Piggy Palace Good Times Society” with the Canadian government in 1996. They claimed to “organize, co-ordinate, manage and operate special events, functions, dances, shows, and exhibitions on behalf of service organizations, sports organizations, and other worthy groups”. What these not-for-profit events eventually ended up being were a series of rave parties where members of music bands and other partygoers would come and engage in substance abuse and also engage with many sex workers. The events were quite large and attracted as many as 2,000 people. After some complaints about the nature of activities held under the name of the charity, and some ruckus created at a New Year’s Eve party in 1998, police intervened and banned any future parties at the pig farm, and also stripped the non-profit status of the society in the following year for lack of sufficient financial statements. The Murders & The DiscoveryIn March 1997, Willy was first charged for the attempted murder of a sex worker called Wendy, who had been stabbed several times following an argument at the farm.Wendy had managed to grab the weapon off Willy, stabbed him back, and escaped despite being handcuffed by him. Pickton received treatment at a nearby hotel and was also later released on bail. The charges were dismissed in January of 1998.It was later that year that the injunction was brought to the farm and the charity to host any events and parties. One of the workers at the farm, Bill Hiscox, noted that many of the women that visited the farm eventually went missing and reported his suspicions to the local police. In February of 2002, when the police visited the farm with a search warrant, they found multiple items belonging to the missing women. Willy and his brother David Pickton were arrested on charges of owning illegal weapons. While they were later released, police maintained surveillance on the brothers. On further investigation, police suspected Willy of a series of murders of the various missing women, and over the course of the year, Willy was charged for a total of fifteen first-degree murders.Over the next three years, by October of 2005, the tally of the first-degree murder charges had gone up to a staggering twenty-seven.Excavations at the farm continued for over a whole year, and cost about $70mn — making it one of the most expensive investigations in Canada’s history. The excavations revealed cut skulls, broken jaws, and other bodily remains of multiple women including the DNA of as many as 33 different women.Robert Willy Pickton The Pig Farmer Killer He Killed 49 Women and Fed Them to PigsTrue Crime Podcast 2022 Police Interrogations, 911 Calls and True Police Stories PodcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2025--5684156/support.Darkest Mysteries Online

I Have Been Inside Area 51

I Have Been Inside Area 51

I Have Been Inside Area 51Area 51 has spawned more conspiracy theories than perhaps any other military facility in the world. Here’s what we know (and don’t know) about this secret U.S. military installation. What we know about Area 51:Area 51 is a U.S. Air Force military installation located at Groom Lake in southern Nevada.Area 51 is an active military installation. It is administered by Edwards Air Force Base in southern California.Area 51 is not accessible to the public and is under 24-hour surveillance. The only confirmed use of the installation is as a flight-testing facility.During World War II (1939–45) the U.S. Army Air Corps used the site as an aerial gunnery range. In 1955 the area was selected by the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) as a testing site for the Lockheed U-2, a high-altitude reconnaissance aircraft. Pres. Dwight D. Eisenhower (1953–61) authorized the testing, which was to be conducted under the code name Project AQUATONE. Testing began in July 1955.After the U-2 was put into service in 1956, Area 51 was used to develop other aircraft, including the A-12 (also known as OXCART) reconnaissance plane and the stealth fighter F-117 Nighthawk. In 1989 a man named Robert (“Bob”) Lazar claimed he worked on extraterrestrial technology inside Area 51. Lazar told Las Vegas television reporter George Knapp that he saw autopsy photographs of aliens inside the facility and that the U.S. government used the facility to examine recovered alien spacecraft. Although Lazar himself was discredited, his claims spawned numerous government conspiracy theories, most of which involved extraterrestrial life. Many people have reported seeing unidentified flying objects (UFOs) in or near Area 51. (Although the term is often used in the context of extraterrestrial speculation, UFOs are not necessarily extraterrestrial in origin.)On June 25, 2013, the CIA approved for release declassified documents chronicling the history of the U-2 and OXCART programs. The documents were released in response to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request submitted in 2005 by American intelligence historian Jeffrey T. Richelson of the George Washington University National Security Archive. The release of the documents marked the first time that the U.S. government formally acknowledged the existence of Area 51.According to the CIA, test flights of the U-2 and subsequent military aircraft account for the UFO sightings in the area.Area 51 employees reach the facility by way of airplane. They fly in and out of a restricted terminal at McCarran International Airport on one of several unmarked planes permitted to fly through the airspace above Area 51 (airspace R-4808N).Until recently, satellite imagery of the installation was censored. As of 2018, Area 51 is visible on Google Maps. What we don’t know about Area 51:It is not known why Area 51 is called “Area 51.”The U.S. government has not provided any information about the research currently being conducted inside the facility.Become a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2025--5684156/support.Darkest Mysteries Online

LAPD Detective Stephanie Lazarus Murder Suspect - Full Length Police Interrogation Audio

LAPD Detective Stephanie Lazarus Murder Suspect - Full Length Police Interrogation Audio

LAPD Detective Stephanie Lazarus Murder Suspect - Full Length Police Interrogation AudioFull Length Police Interrogation VideoSherri Rasmussen (February 7, 1957 – February 24, 1986) was an American woman found dead in February 1986 in an apartment she shared with her husband, John Ruetten, in Van Nuys, California. Rasmussen had been beaten and shot three times in a struggle. The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) initially considered the case a botched burglary, and the crime remained unsolved.Rasmussen's father believed that Stephanie Lazarus, an LAPD officer, was a prime suspect. Detectives who re-examined the cold case files in 2009 were eventually led to Lazarus, by then herself a detective. A DNA sample she unknowingly discarded was matched to one from a bite on Rasmussen's body that had remained in the files. Lazarus was convicted of the murder in 2012 and is serving a sentence of 27 years to life for first-degree murder at the California Institution for Women in Corona.Lazarus appealed the conviction, claiming that the age of the case and the evidence denied her due process. She also alleged that the search warrant was improperly granted, her statements in an interview prior to her arrest were compelled, and that evidence supporting the original case theory should have been admitted at trial. In 2015, the guilty verdict was upheld by the California Court of Appeal.[5]Some of the police files suggest that evidence that could have implicated Lazarus earlier in the investigation was later removed, perhaps by others in the LAPD. Rasmussen's parents unsuccessfully sued the department over this and other aspects of the investigation. Jennifer Francis, the criminalist who found key evidence from the bite mark, unsuccessfully sued the City of Los Angeles, claiming she was pressured by police to favor certain suspects in this and other high-profile cases and was retaliated against when she brought this to the LAPD's attention.True Crime Podcast 2022 - Police Interrogations, 911 Calls and True Police Stories PodcastBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/darkest-mysteries-online-the-strange-and-unusual-podcast-2025--5684156/support.Darkest Mysteries Online
