Setting personal and professional boundaries that are both effective and long-lasting can sometimes be SO difficult... And, once they are set in place, it can be even harder to KEEP them there.

Whether it be with clients, relatives, close friends, or co-workers - or even business partners, a domestic partner, or a significant other - setting and keeping boundaries that are clear and healthily firm is arguably one the most crucially necessary habits to maintaining the priceless integrity of our mental, physical, and emotional health and well-being.

So when we know it's time to set that boundary in our professional and/or personal lives, how do we overcome the guilt and shame so we can just do what we know is actually the right thing for us? And is selfishness a good thing in this scenario?
