105. Fearlessly Failing: Best Selling Crime Fiction Author - Candice Fox

The second I opened an email from Candice’s publicist asking if she could jump on the pod to promote her new book “The Chase” I knew I had to talk to this human. Not only is Candice a best selling crime fiction author (who’s currently working on her 16th book mind you) but she’s sat in a bulletproof shark tank cell with one of the most notorious serial killers in the world. As she sat opposite this killer for 5 hours the whole time they had a sniper on him incase he lunged at her. Candice has put herself in some really fascinating but also scary scenarios, in her research for this book The Chase (which I binge read in 3 days) she visited Lithgow maximum security prison just out of Sydney and talks about seeing inmates pacing and they’d punched the governor in the face just the day before Candice’s visit. If you’re even a tiny bit intrigued true crime,Ted Bundy, the Co-Ed killer, we deep dive some of these guys. And can I just say The Chase, Candice’s new book is unreal, I’ve never read crime fiction until this book and I’m absolutely hooked, thank you Candice, you’re a wonderful human!
