115. Fearlessly Failing : Simon Hill Aka Plant Proof

I was so excited to interview Simon (and a little nervous). Simon is a nutritionist, physiotherapist, has a super successful podcast (plant proof) and blog. On top of that he has a healthy plant based restaurant in Bondi and has just released his first book "The Proof is in the Plants" and can i just say that i binge read the book in just 3 days. It's unreal and it's inspired me to try a more plant predominant diet. Simon's knowledge and passion is really inspiring and in this episode we uncover some of his findings (which are all covered in his book); we talk about the effect lifestyle has on disease states, we talked about how we live in "obesogenic environment" and i learnt about this concept of consuming "stressed out plants" we then dive into some of his 8 principles that helps us make the shift into a more plant based diet. I was also rapt to find out that coffee made the cut. If you're into health, and really optimising your health then this is the episode for you. Simon is an all round legend and I left so inspired to learn more. Hope you enjoy this ep.
