488. Fearlessly Failing: Mr Christmas - Denis Walter!

Christmas is just around the corner, so what better way to kick off the festive season than with this chat! Denis Walter is a permanent fixture of the Melbourne Christmas Carols! He's even got his own Chrissy album and to top it all off he has a beautiful voice. So let's Deck the Halls with Bell's of Denis Walter! Enjoy this lovely and humble human.

What an honour it was to interview Denis, he’s been on my dream guest list since this podcast began. If you’re an Aussie then you’ll be familiar with his deep wonderful voice; from reading the news for 16th years and being on 3AW talk back for 21 years and doing Melbourne’s Carols By Candlelight for close to 50 years.

If you’re a Victorian and love Christmas and anything like me then carols by candlelight is a Christmas Eve tradition, and in our household the moment Denis comes on we all stop and hover around the telly watching and listening to his incredible voice (he sings baritone). I can promise you this; Denis is a kind, honest, hard working human. And I think we can all learn something from this human. For me it a was a real pinch myself moment, interviewing a career hero. Thank you Denis, it was an honor to laugh, reminisce and chat to you.
