Episode 254: The Wendigo

A terrifying presence in the northeastern woodlands, this fearsome creature is most often seen in winter, targeting solo travelers who have lost contact with their groups. The hunger and isolation of the Canadian cold season drives this giant beast with jagged teeth to consume human flesh. Are the forests truly being stalked by otherworldly creatures? Is are real monsters actually just our fellow humans? Or is the truth somewhere in between? This week’s episode is the Wendigo.
