#293: Grace & The Mental - Emotional Prisons We Put Ourselves In

Post-Bible Study reflection.

Lots of old emotions were triggered from this Bible study.

I was in a mental, emotional & spiritual prison for a few decades.

It was both comfortable & brutal at the same time.

It was almost self-righteous hatred, a "holy" hatred of self.

Imagine trying to do anything with your life with that underlying theme mentally, emotionally & spiritually.

What are the consequences of your own mental, emotional & spiritual prisons?

The irony: 2 pastors were both former gangsters & the man sitting next to me at the Bible study had served 2 life sentences in a federal penitentiary. He was ministering to me with the truth about God's Word & how God feels about me regardless of how I feel about me.
