Decluttering is hard work, but is made even harder if you keep bringing stuff into your home. Mary Simpson worked 50-80 hours a week and used shopping as a reward until a health scare in early 2020 changed her mindset about stuff and using shopping as entertainment. She realized that we only get one shot at this life, and it’s not the stuff that matters. She and her family downsized and got rid of almost 75% of their belongings as they sought a simpler, more intentional life.
