With so many Republican candidates hostilely banging election-denying, anti-choice, anti-semitic, homo-, trans- and xenophobic drums, it is fair to say the stakes in these midterm elections have never been higher. And the higher the stakes, the graver the potential ramifications of red victories at the municipal, state and federal levels.
