3-5.5 Matty Chymbor

Hey nerds. This episode, I am joined by the freshly Tik-Tok famous and mighty Matty Chymbor. Once we get past my mispronunciation of his last name, he and I talk about his exploits in standup thus far in his career. Matty and I have quite a bit in common: we have spent a majority of our adult life pursuing a traditional career, we are 34, and we both have struggled trying to break away from the "white guy comedian" placeholder.

Matty is a talented comedian who weaves riffs and crowd work in with his "written" material to create a fresh and organic experience for the crowd. More recently, Matty has been utilizing social media to showcase his talent. We discuss what goes into his videos and what strategies he uses to promote himself. Oh, and keep an eye out for his exclusive merch!!

We also discuss his thoughts on religion and spirituality. Matty grew up Catholic, and still harbors a belief in something in the great beyond. For the most part, he's just concerned with being a decent person and thinks everyone should be more concerned about themselves.
