Offbeat: Beale Treasure Mystery

Mountain Murders examines a curious tale of buried treasure in Virginia. Sometime between 1819 and 1821, a man named Thomas Beale allegedly found "treasures" mostly in the form of gold ore in New Mexico. He smuggled it back east hiding it in Bedford, Virginia. He created 3 ciphers with maps and information on locating the treasure. For years, adventure seekers have sought the answers to the mystery!
