Mayly Tao is LA’s self-proclaimed Donut Princess, owner of DK’s Donuts & Bakery in Santa Monica, California and Donut Princess Los Angeles, a donut bouquet delivery concept. She grew up steeped in LA's food culture and has been cooking and baking since the age of 7. As the creative mind behind DK's Donuts & Bakery's eclectic offerings, she transformed her family's bakery, established in 1981, into an iconic Los Angeles destination. Mayly Tao and her fantastical donut creations have gone viral and been featured on Food Network, LA Times, Thrillist, Tastemade, and more. Mayly shares about the importance of acknowledging her past traumas and how it has helped her boost her confidence and become the shining light that she is today.
