ASICS Mammoth Track Club's Nico Montañez And Coach Andrew Kastor Are Ready For A Marathon Breakthrough In Budapest

ASICS Mammoth Track Club's Nico Montañez and Coach Andrew Kastor join Chris Chavez and Kyle Merber to discuss his preparation to represent Team USA in the marathon at the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest on Aug. 27. Montañez has a 2:09:53 personal best and is considered a contender to make the 2024 U.S. Olympic team at the upcoming marathon trials next February. He has progressed well in his career since turning professional, signing with Asics and focusing on the roads.
