#8: ”Witchcraft 101” Solo Episode

To wrap up the final days of 2023, “Love, Lust & Magick” is here with a special *solo episode* on witchcraft 101! In this episode, inspired by Gabriela’s book “Inner Witch” (known as “Craft in the UK), we cover the basics of witchcraft and what you need to know to begin your practice. We start off with the very important information that there is no one way to be a witch, before covering the difference between spells and rituals and how to work with both, how to cleanse your space and cast a circle, why the distinction of black and white magick is bs, and how to work with the lunar cycles. We talk about the power of creating rituals to check in with yourself, the importance of meditation and visualization, and how to work with your passions to infuse your magickal practice with power. Gabriela share’s suggestions on how to incorporate magick into your daily life, before diving into how to work with crystals, tarot, astrology, and affirmations. The episode wraps up by talking about the witches Wheel of the Year, and how to align your practice with the Solstices, Equinoxes, and Cross Quarter Days.
