Shay also has a Masters Degree in the Science of Nursing from Frontier Nursing University.

Briea also is an alumnae from Winston-Salem State University, she obtained her Bachelors of Science in Nursing and a minor in psychology in 2015. After obtaining her degree, she began working as a cardiac telemetry nurse. In 2016, she became a labor and delivery nurse.
