¿Cómo funcionan las páginas web?

Página Web es la sede digital del negocio.

Se requiere alquilar un espacio en un servidor, es decir un ordenador conectado a internet, para almacenar los componentes de tu página. Estos servidores cuentan con una cuota de alojamiento o en algunos casos, son gratuitos.

Todos los servidores tienen Dirección IP que son una serie de números que cualquier dispositivo conectado a internet pueda localizar. Permite comunicación a lo largo y ancho del mundo con el servidor.

La dirección web o nombre del dominio es la denominación por la que serás encontrado en la web. Lo que se escribe en la página del navegador para acceder al sitio. Lo que va después del www. es el nombre del dominio.

¿Cómo funciona el proceso con internet?

Cuando alguien visita tu página web, el servidor transfiere al explorador web la información necesaria para que el usuario pueda visualizar la página. El tiempo que un sitio web tarda en cargarse depende de factores como el volumen y el tipo de información, así como la velocidad de la conexión a internet.

Aquí te dejo algunas Decisiones Importantes que debes tomar al momento de establecer su sitio web.

1. Nombre de dominio: Verificar que esté disponible, de lo contrario, busca registro de dominios en la web. Procura que sea: corto, significativo, directo y fácil de recordar. Prueba con terminaciones diferentes: .com, .net, .es, .org.

2. Página de inicio del sitio web: Es tu escaparate, conduce a otras ventanas dentro de tu sitio a través de la navegación. La cabecera de navegación puede estar arriba o a un lateral de la página. Pregúntate cómo están organizadas las páginas que visitas por lo regular.

3. Contenido: Agrúpalo, usa secciones tradicionales “acerca de” (historia y fotos del negocio) y “contacto” (comunicación y ubicación) “formularios” “ecommerce” ¿Qué quieres que haga la gente en tu sitio web? Que sea accesible la comunicación con tus clientes.

4. No utilizar tecnicismos. Enfocarse en resolver problemas y necesidades de los visitantes al sitio.

5. Contar una historia, que transmita confianza, explica los conceptos que estás utilizando. Incluye testimonios o videos de clientes satisfechos. Do not use all caps, and be careful when using exclamation points, it will seem spammy. When readers see all caps or a ton of exclamation points, it will immediately be flagged as spam in their heads, so be careful. Keep it short and sweet. People, don't have much time, and they won't want to spend ten minutes reading out a novel you wrote for your #email. It will save you time, and they're more likely to read all the #content if you keep it short and sweet. Keep it personal, but professional. Remember, you're talking with an individual. You want to make it seem like you're not just some homogenous entity that is reaching out to them. Keep it personal and friendly, but keep it professional. Don't forget the preheader. Remember in addition to the subject line, there is also a little bit of sample text that's there to show the readers a little snippet of what's in your #email, and you want to make sure that's up to snuff as well. You don't want the #email to have a nice subject line, and then just be nonsense, you want it to look nice. Finally, remember the rules for #content #marketing in general.
