The major purpose of a slave contract is to define the goals and set standards expected of a slave and establish the responsibilities of the Master. A slave training contract reflects what is expected in the re-education of the slave.

Incorrect behavior on the part of a slave is always associated with incorrect thoughts or a lack of attention to correct behavior. Faulty thinking has to be recognized and challenged by the Master. Often a slave is unaware of these faulty cognitions until uncovered, discussed and challenged.
