Congratulations Napoli, 2022/23 Serie A champions

The Serie A title race never existed, and it’s certainly not going to start now. Jose Mourinho was right, and Napoli’s 2-1 win over his AS Roma side only served as the latest evidence that the Partenopei will comfortably win the scudetto this season.

The action didn’t stop in Naples - AC Milan lost 5-2 at home to a Sassuolo previously without a win in eight, Juventus lost at home to Monza, Inter fell behind before beating Cremonese, Lazio slipped up against Fiorentina, and Atalanta won at home to Sampdoria.
