310. Zack the Russian - Protesting the War Forced Zach to Flee Russia Firstly to Tbilisi, Georgia then US

Zack The Russian, aged 22 and from Siberia, was forced to flee his homeland after the full-scale invasion of Ukraine. He started creating YouTube content while in Russia, to introduce Russian culture and life to his audience. As a student in Moscow, he participated in protests against the invasion of Ukraine, risking arrest and conscription into the war. In March 2022, he left Russia for the Republic of Georgia, where he lived in Tbilisi for a year. He is now studying in the US, and works as a You Tube content creator and is a strong voice protesting the war through his channel. He advocates for Ukrainian independence, and gives voice to fellow Russians who are calling for a democratic and peaceful Russia.
