Lil' Woody's Ex-Lawyer Breaks Silence on Young Thug Contempt Controversy

Attorney Kayla Bumpus represented Kenneth "Lil' Woody" Copeland for one day during an ex parte meeting in Judge Ural Glanville's chambers. The meeting occurred after Copeland invoked his 5th Amendment privilege on the stand during the RICO trial of Jeffrey Williams, the rapper known as Young Thug. Judge Glanville implied that Bumpus may have told Williams' attorney, Brian Steel, about the meeting and violated attorney-client privilege. Glanville held Steel in contempt when he refused to disclose his source.
