The True Story of Pablo Escobar As Told By DEA Agent Steve Murphy

The True Story of Pablo Escobar As Told By DEA Agent Steve Murphy

The True Story of Pablo Escobar As Told By DEA Agent Steve Murphy Colombian drug lord Pablo Escobar’s brutal Medellín Cartel was responsible for trafficking tons of cocaine to North America and Europe in the 1980s and ’90s. The nation became a warzone as his sicarios mercilessly murdered thousands of people―competitors, police, and civilians―to ensure he remained Colombia’s reigning kingpin. With billions in personal income, Pablo Escobar bought off politicians and lawmen, and became a hero to poorer communities by building houses and sports centers. He was nearly untouchable despite the efforts of the Colombian National Police to bring him to justice. But Escobar was also one of America’s most wanted, and the Drug Enforcement Administration was determined to see him pay for his crimes. Agents Steve Murphy and Javier F. Peña were assigned to the Bloque de Búsqueda, the joint Colombian-U.S. taskforce created to end Escobar’s reign of terror. For eighteen months, between July 1992 and December 1993, Steve and Javier lived and worked beside Colombian authorities, finding themselves in the crosshairs of sicarios targeting them for the $300,000 bounty Escobar placed on each of their heads. Undeterred, they risked the dangers, relentlessly and ruthlessly separating the drug lord from his resources and allies, and tearing apart his empire, leaving him underground and on the run from enemies on both sides of the law. Manhunters presents Steve and Javier’s history in law enforcement from their rigorous physical training and their early DEA assignments in Miami and Austin to the Escobar mission in Medellin, Colombia―living far from home and serving as frontline soldiers in the never ending war on drugs that continues to devastate America. true crime, true crime stories, true crime stories podcast, true crime podcast, police interrogations,911 calls,911,true crime daily, serial killer documentary, serial killer documentary 2022,true crime documentary, true crime documentary real stories, true crime podcast 2022,true crime daily full episodes,True Crime Stories Podcast 2025

Nurse's Aide Charged W/ Sex Crimes Involving Memory Care Patients | FULL Police Interrogation

Nurse's Aide Charged W/ Sex Crimes Involving Memory Care Patients | FULL Police Interrogation

Nurse's Aide Charged W/ Sex Crimes Involving Memory Care Patients | FULL Police Interrogation A former nurse's aide who pleaded guilty to sex crimes involving memory care patients was sentenced to three years in prison on Tuesday. Godbless Uwadiegwu, 59, of Middletown, pleaded guilty to two counts of gross sexual imposition. He sexually assaulted two women at two different facilities in Warren County. Judge Don Oda sentenced Uwadiegwu to the maximum prison sentence, 18 months on each conviction for a total of three years. Victims and their families didn't attend the sentencing hearing due to airline and COVID-19 issues, but a livestream was available for them to watch it remotely. In addition, victim advocate Erika Bourelle read letters on behalf of the victims and their families. One letter was written by one of the victims herself. "Some people may not remember, but I do. This happened on his first day in my building. I needed assistance after using the restroom and he came in to help me wipe," she wrote. The victim described how Uwadiegwu sexually assaulted her. "I said, 'Hey, what are you doing?' And he was very shocked and said, 'Oh, I'm sorry. That was an accident,'" the victim wrote. "He takes advantage of people who can't defend themselves, and I think he needs to go to prison for as long as possible." Bourelle read another letter written by the second victim's son. His mother suffers from Alzheimer's and dementia "It is obvious what a sad, pathetic person you are. What kind of monster preys on defenseless women?" he wrote. "Thanks to this terrible disease, there is less and less of my mother, but she has moments of clarity, times when mom is back. Her eyes are clear and she is exactly how I remember her. We live for those moments. Unfortunately, when it comes to the sexual assault, my mother remembers." He said Uwadiegwu used to bring his mother gifts and candy to gain her trust. Instead, he betrayed it. "My mother doesn't remember much these days, but she remembers you and what you do did. So, she is left with shame and fear. That is the impact on my mother," he wrote. On Tuesday, Uwadiegwu spoke for the first time publicly. He didn't admit to any wrongdoing. He said he was just doing his job. "I have been a missionary. I lived in a church, and I have been working to help people in this field," Uwadiegwu said. "As a caregiver, I put empathy in my work in helping people." Uwadiegwu said the job of a caregiver is a very serious job and sometimes he had to clean patients. "I really apologize if there was any way to think I have done anything I shouldn't do," Uwadiegwu said. "It never came across my mind at any time. Please believe me." Uwadiegwu faces similar charges in Butler County.

RACIST, ANGRY, VIOLENT Police Interrogation of Wife Killer Clifford Burns

RACIST, ANGRY, VIOLENT Police Interrogation of Wife Killer Clifford Burns

RACIST, ANGRY, VIOLENT Police Interrogation of Wife Killer Clifford Burns WARNING: AUDIO CONTAINS EXTREMELY GRAPHIC, AS WELL AS RACIST, LANGUAGE AND DESCRIPTIONS. SOME VIEWERS MAY FIND THIS MATERIAL DISTURBING AND UNSUITABLE FOR CHILDREN. Warren County Sheriff's deputies question Clifford Burns on the night he is alleged to have fatally stabbed his wife, Patricia Burns. As Patricia Burns heaved her ham out of the freezer, she was looking forward to a quiet Christmas. It was December 22, 2013, and Patricia, 42, was spending the festive season at home with her daughters, Megan, 22, Harley, 16, and Autumn, 14. The family had been through so much. Patricia’s marriage to Clifford Burns, who was dad to Harley and Autumn, had been rocky. The couple met when Patricia was working at a Dunkin’ Donuts drive-through. Clifford had pulled up and decided there was something he fancied more than a doughnut. So he asked Patricia for her number. At first he’d seemed like a great catch – he had his own business, was a keen fisherman, and doted on Megan, her little sister Christalin and brother, Nick. But after their ’97 wedding, Clifford became violent. His traumatic past was often cited as the reason behind his abuse – he’d witnessed his father’s violence towards his mother. So Patricia gave him the benefit of the doubt, taking him back time and time again. Together they had their two girls, Harley and Autumn. She moved into a new apartment with the kids and began working as a nurse at a hospice, and also got a five-year restraining order against Clifford. Patricia began another relationship. But this new man also had a temper and was slapped with a restraining order after assaulting her, firing a gun into the ceiling and then having a standoff with police. Now, all Patricia wanted was a peaceful Christmas. Autumn texted her dad to wish him Merry Christmas, even though he’d not been in touch for eight months. His reply, which came as Patricia was defrosting the ham, was chilling. I have a special gift coming soon, something for everyone to talk about, and it will be hand-delivered on foot, not by car, it read. Autumn interpreted the message as a threat. Harley and Megan agreed, so they showed the text to their mum. 'Is he going to come here and kill us?' ‘Is he going to come here and kill us?’ Megan asked. But Patricia wasn’t concerned. ‘No Megan, he’s mean, he’s evil, but he’s not that evil,’ she said. Despite her mum’s lack of concern, Autumn tapped back a reply. Get it together, I know what you think you want to do, and believe me that won’t end well, she wrote in the message. The only reason you feel so bad is because of what happened between your parents. Christmas Eve Two days later, on Christmas Eve, Harley went to do some last-minute shopping. Patricia, Megan and Autumn remained at home, preparing Christmas dinner in the kitchen. This time, Patricia was preparing a turkey. Then there was a knock at the door. On the other side of it was a masked man in army fatigues. He was carrying a large hunting knife. The man grabbed Patricia and held her against the wall. Then he plunged the knife into her stomach. 'Megan ran over, grabbing the man and pulling his mask off.' Megan ran over, grabbing the man and pulling his mask off. It was Clifford. ‘Call the cops!’ Megan screamed to Autumn, who was frozen in terror. Clifford continued to stab their mum, before turning the knife on Megan, slashing her arm. Patricia, bleeding profusely, pleaded with her ex to stop. As Autumn called an ambulance, Megan ran out of the house, but her stepdad followed her. Approaching her, he ran off when diners at a restaurant nearby came out. Paramedics arrived, rushing them to the hospital – but Patricia didn’t make it.
