Narcissists are forever out of necessity opportunistic and use any and every significant occasion to gain control and draw in narcissistic supply. When their ‘loved one’ family member, spouse, or close friend dies narcissists grieve in a totally different manner to that of a normal healthy well regulated human being. The event becomes a self referencing opportunity to manipulate for the maximum amount of attention and increase in out put of services to the narcissist.
