Found in the notes of my phone - Good relationships come from two people who are committed. The same level of commitment surpasses most other qualities. And It doesn’t necessarily mean committed to each other.

It could be committed to lifelong growth and work together.

It could be committed to the same style of dating or partnership.

it could EVEN be the same level of commitment at different paces.

as long as there is the same level of commitment to communication in the meantime.

I would much rather die alone making myself happy than fighting + failing to make the wrong person happy instead.

When you look for people who are willing to put the work in - you find people who don’t run when they’re afraid and who communicate big feelings when they can. Even if they are less emotionally mature - commitment to the same type of growth and understand ding and core values is where the money is.
