England Footballer, Art Dealer & Rob on Investment, Cars, Watches Art & Podcasting [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors]

Kieran Richardson and Steven Sulley: Interview on the love of cars and watches High-end watches, art and cars can be a great investment, that can withstand any recession. In this episode, Rob talks with Steven Sulley, and former professional footballer Kieran Richardson about their shared love for all things art, cars and watches. They talk through about how to get into each market, what to look for when investing your cash and how it's all about passion. If you’re thinking of investing in assets to gain a return or you just love watches this is the episode for you. Key Takeaways How did you get into podcasts, Steven? I’d done the progressive property podcast training and thought I’d done a lot of public speaking anyway, so I’d enjoy it. It gives you validation to your brand. The trickle effect means I get to meet people, and it hopefully helps my business. Kieran talks through his motivation from talking with his friends on WhatsApp to start his own podcast. Some of the best podcasts are those that are just conversations. In the football world, did you feel the media sometimes misrepresented you, Kieran? Definitely sometimes, and it’s not always true but the public read it and think its true. Now, footballers have their own social media and can control it better. If you are on a podcast you can reach millions of people without editing. We all have an interest in watches? You know if you have a Patec then there are certain things you know about that person. Kieran stated he had been collecting watches for seventeen years for the love of them. I buy them for the look rather than their function. I fell into selling watches to people and making people face smile. I love it. The moment someone has a watch that you recognise the conversation can start from there. We are all making a statement of who we are. So we try and meet other people who are into the same things as we are and can have a conversation with others. Just from a watch, you learn so much about someone. You can have a free watch because it goes up in value. Buy it for x amount and sell it for more. You can make money on them if you buy at the right time and the right brand. If you want to get into watches, what would you do? Kieran stated Rolexes are a solid investment. Rolex Daytona can really increase in their price over time. Paul Newmans, Paul Newman was worth 17 million, and it wasn’t even in good condition. You need to find someone credible, who can open up the watch and check its authenticity. Get a service receipt so you have clarification that it’s real. The value goes down without box and papers. You have to be passionate about it, so you can track the market. My money came from football? I’m lucky enough to buy watches through football. Sometimes you have to graft, so then you can do what you want to do. My father and my mom throughout my life they have owned several businesses and I’ve seen that through my family. I’ve always been into business. Footballers don’t know what to do often when they retire and the PFA don’t really do anything to support you. Once you start making a decent amount of money you stop thinking about the future. Kieran is not officially retired but if I got fit I could play in the Premier League. I have two young children and don’t want to go around the world. Some footballers still want to play until they were 40. I got to retire on my own terms. What’s your favourite modern car? Aventador, or F40, and F50. Aventador took Lamborghini to another level that looked more futuristic. Audi is helping in the building of it, so it is a tight car. We love both Ferrari and Lamborghini, especially vintage Ferrari. Some of these cars are built for the track Why do you think higher-end cars have gone up in value, and then dropped more recently? No one really knows cars have definitely dropped. Things go up and down all the time. Great cars will always come back around. If you wanted to buy a car? Limited production, and getting the right brand. Some Mercedes lose value straight off the lot. Definitely, buy the right brands. A car that they don’t make any more for example. Cars have got a service history. Paying someone who has the experience to check over the car is essential. What about art, what things to do you look for? You have to be an expert in a specific strategy in the market. As far as investment is concerned to ask three questions: is the artist backed by a museum, gallery/agency and an art dealer? If it’s yes to all three, then you’re probably on for a winner. We deal in contemporary street art. These paintings are going for hundreds of a million. How do you get into painting? You have originals, which is about quality. The shadow head would be around 40-50K. From canvas to paper goes down in value. The limited editions, copies are going for 100’s of thousands. It’s all about supply and demand, 100 is not a lot of copies from one artist. Some people buy the copies and have the real one in storage. What is your motivation for buying art? That’s the most important question when I speak to my clients. There is a different purchase if it’s a pure investment, or if it’s a decoration or if it fits into their portfolio. If you don’t have the courage to spend tens of thousands a good limited edition is a solid place to start. Some people like to go big, it depends on your appetite for risk. Best Moments ‘Some of the best podcasts are just two people having a conversation.’ ‘Podcasts allow you to reach millions of people without editing.’ ‘The first thing I look at when I meet someone is their watch.’ ‘Watches are like art, it’s all about the education.’ ‘Your buying into something more than tells the time, the heritage, history and intimate.’ ‘A watch is a statement of who you are.’ ‘I don’t want to lose my money.’ ‘I like to use them, get into them and drive them and wear my watches.’ ‘Especially with vintage, people like the history.’ ‘There is more doubt if you are buying a watch without box and papers can be seen as not credible.’ ‘Rolex and all these brands put up their price every year.’ ‘The best investment is the one that you are really into.’ ‘You got to enjoy what you do.’ ‘Not everyone has that guidance to buy this and invest in this.’ ‘The best time to plan for future is when it’s going well.’ ‘Treat your contract like it was your last contract.’ ‘You have got to get yourself educated.’ ‘It’s almost about the correct numbers and brands.’ ‘History repeats themselves.’ ‘The big growth with artists after their death is after five years.’ ‘Build up slowly, let it grow.’ ‘Depends on your appetite for risk.’ ‘There is no correlation between different investment assets.’ ‘If you can be disciplined, and hold.’ [Business, mindset, entrepreneur, disruptors] VALUABLE RESOURCES https://robmoore.com/ bit.ly/Robsupporter https://robmoore.com/podbooks rob.team ABOUT THE HOST Rob Moore is an author of 9 business books, 5 UK bestsellers, holds 3 world records for public speaking, entrepreneur, property investor, and property educator. Alfie Best: The DARK SIDE of Being a Billionaire, Gypsy Billionaire Reveals All

Rob interviews Alfie Best, the UK's only Gypsy billionaire. Alfie shares his incredible journey from rags to riches, revealing the secrets to his success and the challenges he's faced along the way. He also talks about the worst advice he ever received, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people and the often dark side of being a billionaire. Alfie Best Reveals: Duplication is key to achieving millionaire and billionaire status, but you must progress through each stage Mixing with the right people at each level of success is crucial for personal growth and learning The UK's tax system is driving wealthy entrepreneurs out of the country, which could have long-term consequences Protecting your assets through proper business structuring is essential to avoid losing everything Success comes at a cost, including time with family, health, and facing criticism from others Seeking advice from the wrong people can hold you back, so be selective about who you listen to Embracing failure and learning from it is a fundamental part of the journey to success BEST MOMENTS "Your network is your net worth of who you circulate with." "If you're never in control of what your own destiny takes, I really try to talk with a common tongue." "Success costs. It doesn't come free." "Sometimes the worst things that happen can be the best things, but we just don't know it." "Nonsense. Uneducated, unskilled opinions are dangerous. They can put people back ten years." ADHD: Superpower or Scam? Will.i.am Challenges the Status Quo on ADHD, the Music Industry and more!

ADHD: Superpower or Scam? Will.i.am Challenges the Status Quo on ADHD, the Music Industry and more!

Rob is joined by music powerhouse Will.i.am in this episode. Will.i.am shares his unique perspective on the evolution of music, the impact of technology, and the importance of personal data ownership. Will.i.am also talks about the potential of AI in the music industry and emphasises the need for individuals to be philanthropic and proactive in making a difference. Will.i.am's insights on ADHD and the education system challenge conventional thinking and inspire listeners to embrace their own superpowers. Will.i.am Reveals: The music industry is on the brink of a new renaissance, with AI poised to disrupt traditional recording, touring, and publishing. Social media has democratised access to wealth and success but has also amplified hate and negativity due to algorithmic biases. Personal data is the new gold, and individuals need to own and control their data through "data banks" to leverage their own AI. Being philanthropic and proactive is crucial for making a positive impact, beyond just writing or singing about issues. Embracing creativity as a currency and learning from constructive criticism are key to personal growth and success. ADHD is often misunderstood, and the education system should focus on nurturing individual strengths rather than enforcing conformity. Hyperactivity and attention disorders can be superpowers if channelled correctly, and society should recognise and polish these diamonds. BEST MOMENTS "You have to go out there and be philanthropic as well. So that's why I went back to my neighbourhood and started a school, an after-school program in 2008." "Creativity is my currency. I'm rich creatively. I may not have money now. But as soon as I get these ideas out, shit, these motherfuckers are going to grow." "I think ADHD is not the problem for the person that they claim has ADHD. It's the problem for the person that doesn't know how to, you know, reach a hyperactive person and hyperactivity is a superpower." "If you're not taking the time to polish certain rocks to realise that they're diamonds, you're going to miss out on a lot of fucking diamonds." "There's some truth to what people say, you have to be self-aware" "We know data's gold, and we know the companies that are leveraging your data, data monarchies. And they do such a good job of it that you don't even know the power of your own data." How I’m Beating the System| Mo Gawdat Quizzes Me on My Success

How I’m Beating the System| Mo Gawdat Quizzes Me on My Success

Rob is interviewed by Mo Gawdat to discuss the true nature of money and how to navigate the current economic landscape. With wit and wisdom, they discuss the importance of investing in yourself, defining success on your own terms, and leveraging money to work for you. Get ready to challenge your beliefs about wealth and discover how to thrive in uncertain times. Reveals Money is a universally agreed exchange of value, but your relationship with money is shaped by your beliefs, upbringing, and society. Success is maximising your human potential and self-actualisation, not measuring yourself against others' definitions of success. Your biggest expense is tax, and the only way to reduce it is by running your own company and leveraging legal tax offsets. Invest in assets that appreciate, such as Bitcoin, gold, silver, FTSE or S&P, and starting your own business. The worst form of money after 2020 was cash, as it loses value due to inflation and quantitative easing. Money loves you when you become investable by learning about money, business, and entrepreneurship. Invest in yourself, as you are your best asset, and success will follow when you focus on who you want to be. BEST MOMENTS "Money isn't what you want, money is who you are." "Observe the masses and do the opposite." "If you want to win money and beat the system, beat inflation, beat quantitative easing, beat the devaluation and the debasement of currency, you have to put your money in the best form that you can." "It's not what you do, it's who you are. It's not what you think, it's who you are, that really attracts everything." "Invest in yourself wisely." A Communist Britain? Nigel Farage Slams the UK Government

Rob is again joined by Brexit champion Nigel Farage as he shares his incredible journey from being debanked to thriving in the jungle on "I'm a Celebrity." Farage fearlessly tackles globalism, entrepreneurship, and the future of British politics. Discover the secrets behind his resilience, his friendship with Trump, and his potential return to the political arena in this must-listen interview. Nigel Reveals Why he was debanked by NatWest after 43 years The discrimination against the right wing in the UK Why Globalism, driven by unelected bodies like the IMF and EU, diminishes the power of nation-states and benefits big businesses. Why he backs Donald Trump His honest thoughts on the Liz Truss budget What it takes to be successful in politics and business Why money provides freedom Why he is considering re-entering politics BEST MOMENTS "The corporate world in Britain has been completely infested with uber liberal, left wing, diversity, inclusion, cobblers. Absolute cobblers. And they feel it's okay to discriminate against you on the basis of your views." "The thought that somebody, just because they're related to me, has a business account closed, frankly, is monstrous." "From 2030, under Jeremy Hunt's plans, there will be a central bank digital currency. If they can control your bank account, if they can control your freedom, you might as well be living under communism." "Never believe the BBC because they will all tell you that cryptocurrencies are valueless and a flash in the pan. They're not." "Look, you know, one thing Trump did in his first term, he got people in senior positions in government who'd never been in politics before. But had been massively successful businessmen and businesswomen who built corporations, who paid lots of tax." "Unless you create wealth, you can't have hospitals. You can't have schools. You have to create wealth. And Trump understands that. I'm not, I'm not actually sure that the current Labour and Conservative parties get it." "Living in a democratic nation state is a damn sight better than any other form of life that mankind, in its two million years of evolution, has yet come up with."
