Is 8/8 Lion’s Gate Astrology or not? With Kelly Surtees and Divine Harmony | S2 Ep #25

Every year, around August 8, it is said that a cosmic event called "Lion's Gate Portal" opens up.

For years, the Astrology community has been divided on whether this is an Astrological event or not. I even got "reported" when I gave my opinion on it a few years ago.

Last year, instead of just presenting one (my) opinion, we interviewed two amazing Astrologers Kelly Surtees and Divine Harmony to weigh in. And they explained their sides so brilliantly, we are bringing them again today so that you can have a listen and make your own opinion on how you feel about the Lion's Gate Portal 8/8/2023 Activation.

So what IS Lion's Gate?

It is said, the Lion's Gate portal opens once a year on 8/8. This is a time when the sun is in Leo, Orion's belt, the star Sirius, as well as the earth all line up. In numerology, 8 also carries a lot of significance, so two 8s when August 8 (8/8) happens, it gives the practitioner a potent opportunity to manifest their deepest dreams and desires.

For non-believers, 8/8 doesn't add up. It seems to be a miscommunication about an Aquarius lunar eclipse in 1998 and is not considered Astrology.

Whichever side you stand, If there is an important takeaway we can all agree on it is that it really is about the intention we put behind things and the sacred space we create around ourselves.
