In this episode, paleontologist Pete Larson, president of the Black Hills Institute and leader of the famous Sue excavation, explains what decades of fossil discoveries have revealed about T. rex.

We discuss the evidence behind the predator-versus-scavenger debate, whether Tyrannosaurus rex may have hunted in family groups, how scientists study dinosaur behavior from fossils, and what discoveries suggest about parenting, feathers, biomechanics, growth, and sexual differences.
