After a torrid run up the FIVB rankings in 2018, Stockman and Kelley Kolinske would finish the Tokyo Olympic qualification process ranked 10th in the world – and just out of qualifying for the Tokyo Olympic Games. Afterwards, she went where she always does: the mountains, where she contemplated retiring, moving on, pursuing something new. And in those mountains she rediscovered her passion for the beach.
