This past weekend I celebrated my 33rd birthday and every year on my birthday I reflect.

I love to take this time to think about the past year of life and mentally prepare for the next.

As you might already know, I am constantly thinking of ways to live more in alignment with the highest version of myself and every birthday serves as a great time to evaluate.

I also take birthdays VERY seriously!

After losing so many loved ones, especially my brother at the young age of 19, I see the privilege of getting to celebrate another year of life.

This year, I compiled a list of six life lessons I've learned over the past year of my life, mostly in 2020 because it's been quite the year, hasn't it?

I hope this episode serves as a reminder that you're not alone in whatever you're working through in this season of life as well as inspires you to look at things differently.

This is a beautiful climb, after all, not one said it was easy, but it IS beautiful
