Bercier Wickre, 42. All of these Indigenous women were either murdered or disappeared under suspicious circumstances. Some have been solved, most of them have not. These are just a few names out of thousands of missing and murdered Indigenous women in the nation. Many aren’t reported and most aren’t even investigated properly, leaving loved ones feeling lost, filled with questions, and feeling as though they can’t trust any law enforcement.
