Counter Strike 2 Coming this Summer

Valve has just confirmed the arrival of Counter-Strike 2, and it is set to be released sooner than we anticipated. The exact date is yet to be revealed, but the release window is scheduled for the summer of 2023. The game will run on the Source Engine 2 and will be a free upgrade to CS:GO.Valve has also announced that it will be available for limited testing to some CS:GO players, and more details on how to participate will be revealed shortly. The CS2 website states that this release will be the largest technical leap forward in Counter-Strike’s history, ensuring new features and updates for years to come.Valve has highlighted some of the key improvements players can expect from CS2, such as upgraded and overhauled maps, game-changing smoke grenades, tick-rate-independent gameplay, and redesigned visual effects and audio. All the overhauled maps will be built from scratch using the new Source 2 tools and rendering features.
