Neil Gaiman's Good Omens is set for a Season 3 renewal by Amazon and BBC. Main cast members, including Michael Sheen and David Tennant, are expected to return. However, Douglas Mackinnon, executive producer and co-showrunner for the initial two seasons, has confirmed his exit from the show. Despite Mackinnon's departure, Season 3 appears to be on the horizon, especially given the success of Season 2.
