Episode 368 Combat Veterans & Confronting The Reality of Trauma. Duane France.

As many of you know, one of my inspirations for starting this podcast was my brother, a former Navy SEAL who returned from combat with PTSD. I've created an entire Military Podcast Series which consists of interviews of the incredible therapists who’ve dedicated their lives to helping veterans heal. Duane France is one of those individuals. First though, a huge thank-you to my sponsors who help me keep this thing going! CPTSD Foundation provides peer-led, daily, interactive group calls, in a safe atmosphere for survivors of complex trauma, equipping them with skills and information they can use every single day in their healing journey. Duane France is a retired United States Army Noncommissioned Officer. After 22 years of service, which included tours of duty with the 82nd Airborne Division, service as an Army Recruiter at Fort Meade, Maryland, and five combat and operational deployments, he became a clinical mental health counselor serving veterans in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As Duane started to work with veterans, he realized that there are some common challenges that all veterans face and that there are many individuals who want to support veterans that do not fully understand what these challenges are. Duane started the Head Space and Timing Blog and Podcast to help amplify this message and support those who have served.Support this podcast at — https://redcircle.com/the-trauma-therapist-podcast-with-guy-macpherson-phd-inspiring-interviews-with-thought-leaders-in-the-field-of-trauma/exclusive-contentAdvertising Inquiries: https://redcircle.com/brands
