And just like that, we have completed Black History Month, and we are now celebrating Women's History Month! What women in your life or otherwise would you like to celebrate this month? I'll go; first, it will ALWAYS AND FOREVER be my mommy! She was the greatest ever! Let me know in the comments what woman or women you are celebrating this month! Alrighty, on today's show, we round off our discussion of what it's like to live your truth, and LadyDee hits us with the cliche of being true to yourself! But, is that so wrong? my question to this is how do you live your truth? What do you guys think? I thought I knew, but lately, I think I've been a bit confused. As LadyDee said, to live your truth, you have to know who you are as a person, what you want in your life, and where do you see yourself going. She says peace is her truth. We then move on to introducing our new segment, For the Culture. As you will hear, this will be a moment for us to highlight Black-owned non-profits and for-profits to bring their excellent work to the forefront and share their missions with the community. We support everything black as long as it's positive, and we have seen there are so many non=profits run by black people that we had never heard of before, and chances are if we hadn't, then someone else hasn't either, so this will be the time to learn about them.
