We discuss their recent paper published in Criminology titled "How to overcome the cost of a criminal record for getting hired".

In this episode we speak with Bradley Silberzahn on his work on sex workers, police-sex worker interactions, and retention in the SAPPHIRE Study (a hard-to-reach population). Brad is a 2nd year graduate student in Sociology at the University of Texas at Austin. His research interests are in policing, the criminal justice system, harm reduction, and vulnerable populations, including people who use drugs and people who sell sex. Previously, Brad worked as a Senior Research Program Coordinator at the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Brad has been published in journals such as American Journal of Public Health, BMC Public Health, PLOS One, Addictive Behaviors, Journal of Urban Health, and Journal of the International AIDS Society.
