Reflections and Insights from a Parent of a Transgender Child.

Join me this week for Season 2, Episode 4 as I sit down with my dear friend, Lisa Brooks who shares with me her reflections and insights of being a parent of a transgender child and the “cause and effects” that she experienced upon her child announcing who they are, her families evolution and the things she feels compelled to share with others from what she has learned and why she is so passionate about sharing her insights for the betterment of transgender children and the transgender community and the ones who love them and creating a safe environment for all to grow and thrive.

This is a conversation that is so important to have and continue to have as acceptance for all humans and who they identify as is imperative in our world and that the transgender community whose lives are sadly threatened everyday from lack of education and hate is a position of limited beliefs, that this isn’t a lifestyle, rather this is a reality for these individuals who are born this way and how we as a society can learn, support and be inclusive to make this world a safe and inviting place for all!
