Sharp Leadership | Carl Sharperson, Jr. Ep. 60

Sharp Leadership | Carl Sharperson, Jr. Ep. 60

"Good leadership consists of showing average people how to do the work of superior people."

John D. Rockefeller

You never know the impact someone will have on you until that impact has already been felt. The influence of multiple mentors and coaches in our lives can pave the way to a foundation of leadership. The important thing is to take those teachings and apply them when necessary.

For today's guest, the first lesson was to NEVER QUIT.

It's a lesson that has stuck with him through his time at the United States Naval Academy, The United States Marine Corps and in his professional and entrepreneurial journey.

Carl Sharperson, Jr. is a Leadership Innovation Strategist, speaker, author, and coach.

The road through life certainly has not been sunshine and rainbows. In his book "Sharp Leadership: Overcome Adversity to Lead with Authenticity," Carl takes readers on a journey of how to transition life experiences into leadership opportunities.

In this episode, Carl shares some of those experiences with us. Including the challenges of being a minority and getting into the United States Naval Academy, overcoming adversity in his professional career, and getting diagnosed with stage 4 Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma.

You won't want to miss the wisdom and lessons shared in this amazing episode!
