One Stroke At A Time | Joe Everson Ep. 66

"Use your blood to paint. Keep painting until you faint. Keep painting until you die."

Yoko Ono

How bad do you want to see your goals and aspirations come into fruition?

I've heard a number of people say that we often overestimate what we can accomplish in a year but underestimate what we can accomplish in a decade. Small habits repeated over time will pay off in a huge way.

The question is, are you able to hold on to those habits long enough for our trees to bear fruit.

When you have a craft you're working on, it takes a long time to mature. You have to water that craft, care for it, perfect it, and give in to it for years before you see any significant return.

Frustration, doubt, stress, and adversity are just a few emotions that will be sure to hit while you work your hardest to make your dream a reality.

Joe Everson knows all about the struggle. This renaissance man is an artist, vocalist, musician, and photographer. His journey to becoming America's first and only singing/action painter was anything but sunshine and rainbows.

Fist landing in Greenville, SC to accept a job offer, Joe had to build his craft while working a full-time job. Every gig, every art show, and every painting slowly inched him closer to his goal until the perfect mixture of paint and voice would propel him to a new level.

Joe's viral videos of singing the national anthem while paining live have gotten over 220 million views and have him shaking hands with the likes of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Jason Statham, Steph Curry, Ice Cube, Draymond Green and more.

Hop into this episode and find out how Joe spent countless nights and days perfecting his craft, giving to the art and making his dreams come true. This is a true Rain to Rainbows story.
