These sessions are recorded from Clubhouse and replayed here on the Italian Wine Podcast! Listen in on this series as Italian Wine Ambassadors all over the world chat with Stevie and their chosen wine producer. Which producer would you interview if you had your pick? About about today’s guest host: Ashlee Howell is a Vancouver based wine professional having served many roles in the wine trade over the past 10 years; from sommelier to consultant to buyer. She holds the DipWSET qualification, French and Italian Wine Scholar certifications, and is a Vinitaly International Academy Italian Wine Ambassador. After spending half of 2019 in Italy, fully submerged in the culture, vineyards, language, wine and way of life, she returned to Vancouver to share the best kept secrets among Italy’s high quality niche producers. As an Italian wine importer, she shares the stories of hard working, family run cantinas with a high respect for honoring tradition and serving the land. As a freelance writer, she spends half her year abroad sourcing new wines and new experiences.
