More about today’s guest: As Vice President of Corporate Wine Sales for Allied Beverage Group, NJ, Maggie Maxwell oversees the overall wine strategy and sales performance for one of the top ten beverage alcohol distributors in America. Prior to working in beverage alcohol distribution, Maggie worked as a buyer in wine retail and as an editorial researcher in the food and wine space. She holds a Masters in Food Studies from NYU and a WSET Level III Advanced Certification. Maggie joined Allied Beverage Group as a Field Sales Manager for the Meritage Fine Wine Division in 2012. In 2014 she was promoted to Director of Fine Wine for Allied Beverage Group, and in 2018 she was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Wine Sales. Today she is responsible for managing relationships with winery partners and overseeing Allied Beverage Group’s wine education program as well as a group of wine sales specialists who cover the state. She co-chairs Allied Beverage Group’s R.I.S.E. gender equity group, and is proud to sit on the Women’s Leadership Council for the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America.
