More about Jules Herd: Graduating with a BA Hons in Public Relations, Jules has spent 20+ years working in communications, quitting the corporate life in 2018 to start her own consultancy Five in a Boat. She was formerly the Global VP of Communications for HTC and Deezer and has worked both agency and client for brands including Microsoft, AMD, Disney, Virgin, Codemasters and KLM amongst others. She now heads up her agency as well being the co-owner and Chief Communications Officer of Electric Vehicles company EV Cables and the founder of a Cookham Cocktail Club and spirits line Blind Swan. Jules is also a former Chair of the PRCA Council (the world's leading PR trade body), she writes for Forbes and often participates in industry panels on a variety of subject matters. Championing Diversity and Inclusion Jules actively promotes the importance of equality in industry. She is vocal about fertility issues, based on her own experience, and the need for better support for families and spent a number of years working for the Samaritans.
