The winery is awarded the Best Sweet White Wine 2023 Trophy for Terre Siciliane IGP Bianco Biologico Terre Tardive 2017, in Wine Without Walls, a section of 5StarWines – the Book wine selection in 2023 More about today’s winery A story that began in the 1970s among the hills northeast of the small village of Campobello di Licata, in the Agrigento area of southern Sicily (Italy). A family company built by passionate winemakers. Giuseppina Milazzo, her husband Saverio Lo Leggio and their son Giuseppe, who all grew up on the winery, have been running the winery for more than a decade. Pioneer in the introduction of organic farming, started this path in the mid-1980s. It was one of the first to experiment with Traditional Method Sparkling Wine production in Sicily. The philosophy that guides the winery has always been that of artisanal viticulture, based on knowledge of the land, the vine, manual workmanship and creativity in interpreting these elements, together with the ability to exploit the best characteristics of the climate and soil.
