His twice monthly column for winespectator.com called Robert Camuto Meets...explores the characters who are making a difference in the Italian (and French) wine scenes. He is the author of three books: including two based in Italy. They are Palmento: A Sicilian Wine Odyssey and the most recent South of Somewhere: Wine, Food and the Soul of Italy.
