His 23-year-old son had died from fentanyl poisoning. Jeff would have to face his own addictions with alcohol and what it meant to moving forward.

During this episode, Jeff takes us through his definition of Spiritual Resilience and how it manifests in his life as a professed Agnostic. He walks us through how he identified that he had two options: he could go down a road of anger and despair and be BITTER, or he could use his situation as motivation to become BETTER. Jeff explains how he took a step back from his career and focused his attention on making a difference. He is an advocate, author, speaker, and podcaster on a mission. Jeff founded a nonprofit, Choices Network, Ltd which is dedicated to educating kids, parents, teachers & coaches on the importance of making positive choices.

Finally, On May 9, 2022, Jeff will be embarking on his biggest project yet, The Undeterred Tour. He will be starting a 95-day tour across all 50 states with the goal of raising $1 million while building a network of resources. The goal is to end the stigma around these issues, connecting individual with similar stories, and build a collection of resources on a national level to find alternative solutions.
