How To Have More Power In Your Relationships!

This episode explores the themes of living explicitly beyond societal norms, personal freedom, and relationships through the insights of your host, Los Angeles attorney Jason Ingber, and therapist Rachel Feldman, coupled with a personal narrative on self-acceptance versus societal conformity. Jason shares his path to liberation through intentional deviation from societal expectations, influenced by Rachel's expertise in narrative therapy, medical sociology, human rights, and post-structuralism, which emphasizes the importance of authenticity and vulnerability. Together, they examine the therapeutic power of living with intentionality, the pressures of societal conformity, and the courage required to embrace personal truths. Additionally, a reflective monologue touches on the journey from self-policing to self-acceptance, outlining the transition from nihilism to conviction, and underlining the significance of each personal choice against the backdrop of societal expectations. This episode invites listeners to consider explicit communication and self-awareness as avenues to a more dignified, self-determined, and less oppressed life.

Second Look

Second Look

We've come a long way. 200 years ago it was normal for someone to be hung or tortured to death as a punishment.  Fast forward to today in the U.S. where a revolutionary justice mechanism is blossiming to help people that in certain circumstances are sitting in prison for no reason.  Second Look legislation will allow people to have a rehearing regarding their sentence after 10 years or so.

My Dinner With Joel

My Dinner With Joel

I won a dinner with Joel Bess. Joel used to be a palm reader. He loves life. His mood is beyond playful. "Fold a piece of paper twice," he tells me, “and I will give you a map to your dreams.” I’m hooked.  “Write down where you are in your life on one side, and then write down where you want to be in your life in ten years from now on the other side.  Now, open up the paper...That blank part is how you're going to get there."  With everyone seated, his family and guests, before we started eating, he charmed everyone into doing his ritual to speak about something you’re grateful for.

Louis Ziskin - From Prison to CEO

Louis Ziskin - From Prison to CEO

Louis Ziskin is my friend’s half-brother.  Louis is a convicted drug kingpin.  His ring was busted for the largest MDMA operation in U.S. history. This episode is chaotic.  I invited a woman to join us that I met in an open-mic at Venice Beach.  She lives off-the-grid. No phone. No internet footprint.  She brings out unique diamonds from Louis. He fights her on whether America is a beautiful country. Louis tells us about getting himself out of prison because the government’s wire taps on him were illegal. He's now a millionaire CEO.   Louis also tried importing PPE during Covid, which went horribly wrong.  Available on my Youtube Channel: Jason Ingber.
