Marine rescues puppy trapped in Arizona canyon

Zak Anderegg served as a Marine, and back in 2010 during a road trip to an Arizona slot canyon he rescued a dog who was left there to die. This is his story. A few years later he co-authored the book, "Rescuing Riley, Saving Myself: A Man and His Dog's Struggle to Find Salvation" with Pete Nelson through Skyhorse Publishing, available now in all formats at all major online book retailers.
