Jamies Sober Journey

Hello beautiful souls, ✨ In this episode I speak to the amazing Jamie Burke. Jamie gives us an insight into his relationship with alcohol and how it impacted his mental health. How for many years alcohol was a coping mechanism for him. He openly shares the highs and the lows with us and everything in-between. This is a really empowering listen and Jamie is so open, vulnerable and honest. There really is something we can all take from it. Jamie has now made his mental health a priority and has chosen to become sober. He has found other coping mechanisms and has even gone one step further and is now helping others do the same. Jamie in recent times has trained as an alcohol free coach and has a diploma in alcohol addiction and positive psychology and is passionate about helping others who may want help with their relationship with alcohol. This episode I feel can help us question our own relationship with alcohol and lead to some really positive conversations. In recent years I have most definitely questioned my relationship with alcohol and it is something I don't feel massively called to anymore. In the past I definitely used it for a confident boost, as I believed I wasn't fun without it. Remember your mental health is more important than confirming with any "norm" It's your life, your journey and your path I have no doubt that this is only the start of the journey for Jamie.
