#35. A joyful culture ride - Annicken Day

The world and our workplaces could need a whole lot of more joy infused into it, so who better to invite to this episode of A regenerative future than Annicken Day, which has joy as her guiding star in life.

Annicken is a best selling author, key note and Ted-X speaker and expert in workplace culture, she has joy as her guiding star.

She started her career getting fired from a job when she tried to coach her leader to treat their people a bit better (an experience we share). Then she understood that she needed to embark on a journey to improve workplace cultures and build better leaders.

She is passionate about the importance of realising our dreams now, as Annicken just did. To spoil it a bit, it involves working from anywhere, some sun and just a little bit of wine.

We talk about going from making work not suck, to being a thriving place and how joy and passion is important parts of a thriving workplace.

We get to know Maya, the fictional businesswomen from her book, who I think we all can relate to. I at least felt like the story of Maya is the story of me. Or maybe it's you?

And then we end on the importance of once in a while have a proper touchdown with yourself to transform, and how that can look like.
