DANCE, DOROTHY, DANCE, the Dorothy Arzner podcast continues with Marc and B discussing THE WILD PARTY (1929), which was not only Dorothy Arzner's first sound film, but the first feature-length sound film directed by any woman. It stars Clara Bow in her first sound performance alongside Arzner regular Friedrich March, as student and professor who get romantically involved at an all-girls University in California (don't worry, it's gayer than it sounds).
